We received hundreds of great fly fishing photos for this years competition.
Once again, I am so glad that I don’t have to be a judge but the cream has risen and we are proud to announce the winners of the 2015 Gink and Gasoline Fly Fishing Photography Contest.
First Place and the Sage rod and reel combo go to Arian Stevens for this amazing B&W landscape with angler.
Second place and the Redington Vapen goes to Matt Guymon for this beautiful release shot.
Third place, the Fishpond Lumbar Pack and RIO InTouch fly line go to Joel Dickey for this stunning photo of a tarpon fin.
Congratulations to all three winners and a hearty thanks to all who entered! Thanks to our judges for their time and expertise.
And a very special thank you to Sage, Redington, RIO and Fishpond for the generous prizes they donated and for their continuing support of the G&G community! Let’s give them a hand shall we?
It’s impossible to share all of the great photos we received but below are the runners-up in no particular order. Click images to enlarge and see photographers name.

I’m really glad to see a B&W photo win the contest. They have so much more texture and character. It looks like the Yakima River.
These are magnificent. Thanks for sharing. I have much to learn!
I love fly fishing, it is a beautiful picture.
Congratulations to all!
Louis, good work on the contest and thank you for the posting of the runner-ups.
I am personally especially fond of the Justin Hamblin #1 and #2, and the Ed-Jack-Dvorak#3 in the runner-ups, along with of course the Arian Stevens winner.
Blown away by the quality of the photography. Great job with the contest.
That #2 tarpon shot is killer! You guys had your work cut out for you judging all those amazing shots. I think fly fishing has different inspirations for each of us. Reflections, sunrises and mountain scenes all tell a story. Great job and great contest.
I really enjoyed being a bystander for the contest. Some great work there. Thanks!
Stunning, all of them! My personal favorite is the 2nd place photo by Matt Guymon. Very well done Matt!
Congratulations to the winners and it was a pleasure to participate in this great photo contest!
Wow, great shots! I have a hard time catching fish at all let alone getting great shots of them like that.
