They told me these Oregon steelhead were different. I’m not sure I like it.
All I can say is I must be the worlds best sucker fisherman. I thought I’d done something when I caught them on dry flies but now I see that swinging steelhead flies is really the only way to go!

It’s hard to get those bottle-nosed trout to take a dry, but if you swing an egg just right they can be pretty aggressive.
Swinging is the only proper way to take a sucker.
Are they really a sucker for falling for a swinger?… not that there’s anything wrong with that….
