Nothing is nearer to my heart than a fellow sharing a few good words and some great photos on a subject we both love.
Mike Sepelak does both with a gentile grace that’s impossible to resist. I hear the sounds of the North Carolina mountains in his words and feel his love of the out doors in his photography. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Great stuff…
I love what you’re doing!
Thank you, Bob, and right back at ya. I’ve long been a fan. Your cover illustration of No Shortage of Good Days happens to sit visible as I type this. Lovely work.
Thanks Bob! We appreciate your support.
Mike is a classic. A “gentle grace” with just the right amount of edge. I love his work…through the lens or in word.
Classic, huh. I’ll have to think about that a bit, Erin. And the respect is mutual, thus the compliment more meaningful. Thanks.
Depending on how it’s used, classic and old start to sound pretty much the same. I’ll take classic. More refined sounding. Always worth reading you Mike, I especially like that “right amount of edge…”
Yeah, that’s what I was thinking Ken. I’ll take classic and be happy with it. And you and I have talked about that “edge” before, haven’t we? 🙂
Indeed and a southerner at that! You gotta love it.
Mike I read gone fishing. Do you have tying instructions for interested parties wanting to give your pattern an old fashioned try? If so, I would like to tie up a couple myself and try my luck. Perhaps I’ll have some interesting feedback to share afterwards.
