Nautilus Reels has become one of the top fly reel manufacturers in the United States the last few years. In fact, their reels have become so popular, they’ve had a hard time keeping up with demand, and they’ve even had to turn away business at times. But when you consider the tough economic times we’re currently in, that’s a much more desirable position to be in, when lots of companies out there are struggling to boost their stagnant sales. The good news for you loyal Nautilus supporters out there, is it’s all about to change. As we move forward into 2013, the company will have completed the expansion and output in their USA based factory to exceed product demand.
You’d think with the company running full throttle to keep up with demand, and at the same time building onto their factory, they wouldn’t have enough time or resources left over to focus on innovation and introducing new products. Surprisingly, that hasn’t been the case at all. They’ve some how managed to rise to the challenge and have found time for all of the above. This year in Reno, Nautilus Reels had a stellar IFTD show, and we were grateful to have Kristen Mustad personally take the time out of his busy schedule to talk with us about their new products for 2013.

absolutely stunning reels and owning a few FWX’s, I am not surprised that they have become No1 in the USA.
Couple a Hardy’s Zenith 8′ No 4 with a Nautilus FWX 3/4, with its great drag control system, landing big brownies yesterday, you feel and sense everything. Great reels Nautilus – Made in MIA!!!
