I don’t know if there is a fish I get more worked up over than the steelhead.

What remarkable creatures they are, bridging the gap between freshwater and saltwater fly fishing. This fish was caught about a half mile from the salt in the Dean River. What a beauty.

Come fish with us in the Bahamas!

  1. If I were told I could only catch only one more fish one time only before I die it would be pacific steelhead on the fly. In Idaho if at all possible

  2. I’ve never fished steel that has seen salt, but I have the same excitment for Michigan Chrome. Even the antisipation of an outing can drive me a little mad. Cold sweats, lost sleep and coffee induced shakes are par for the course. A single fish day on a solitary stretch of the Pere Marquette River is one step away from heaven.
